No registration, license, or insurance as an e-bike.

In its governed mode and on public roads/bike lanes where e-bikes are allowed, the AE30 rides without vehicle paperwork.

At ~31 mph it exceeds the Class 3 ceiling (28 mph) and is no longer an e-bike — on public roads it would then require state registration, a license/endorsement, insurance, and DOT equipment. Keep the limiter engaged for street use.
